It is the calling of both of our music directors at Dalton First to influence our community to know Christ through impactful, meaningful worship. In our wide variety of worship services and musical styles, we aspire to involve children, youth, and adults in praising the Lord through vocal and instrumental expressions.
The worship services in the Sanctuary include multiple choirs, a magnificent pipe organ, handbells, as well as many other elements. Our contemporary worship service in Famber Hall called “Encounter,” seeks to meet with God in an intimate and personal way through worship and teaching.
We would love to encourage you to explore our various worship opportunities and see if God is calling you to be involved in one of them as your expression of praise to Him
Sanctuary service times are 8:45am & and 11:00am
Encounter service time is 11:00am in Famber Hall

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy,

to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God,

this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to

the pattern of this world, but be transformed by

the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able

to test and approve what God’s will is—his good,

pleasing and perfect will.

(Romans 12:1-2)

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir leads traditional worship each Sunday morning for the 8:45am and 11:00am services. This choir is open to adults and youth who feel a call to serve God through the musical gifts He has given them. The choir sings a wide variety of hymn arrangements and choral classics. This group also presents several special programs throughout the year and sings for many community events. They meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:15pm in the Music Suite. If you are interested in becoming a part of the Chancel Choir, you are welcome to join at any time during the year.

Encounter Worship

We believe that worshiping with the body of Christ is an integral part of the developing of our faith and that leading God’s people in worship is a privilege that we get to be a part of. So wether you love to sing, play an instrument, run tech, or even help with set designs, we have a place for you to offer your talents and abilities in leading people closer to Jesus.
Here you would actually be the head over an area of our worship to the church. This is a big responsibility and should not be taken lightly. However, the rewards are out of this world!
Worship Team
Are you interested in singing and playing with our worship team to lead the congregation in worship? We would love for you to be a part! We always have a constant rotation of people so regardless of how much you would like to participate we have a place for you.
Video/Audio Production
If you’re interested in helping with our live sound, graphics, or video, we will be able to teach you all you need to know. Can you click? Then you can be a part of our team!
Set Design
Putting together sets for our special seasons and for our Modern Worship is important. Do you have carpentry skills? Can you paint? Do you have a creative side? If you do we need you!
