The Joel Group has presented the process known as CBS (Connecting, Building, and Sending) to DFUMC which has unanimously approved it in February for implementation by the church body. The presentation was also made in Famber Hall in March 2009. Attached is the presentation for all to review. Please contact a Joel Group member if you have questions. CBS is now woven into the newly adopted Mission Statement for the church which is:
Creating Disciples for Jesus Christ by Connecting a lost world to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Building Christians through the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ leading them to a spiritually disciplined Christian life, and Sending Christians to serve the mission of the gospel of Jesus Christ."
