If you are currently not involved in a church, or are looking for a new church home, we invite you to become a part of First United Methodist Church. Our church family will nurture you as you continue to grow in faith, assist you as you find a small group for fellowship, and provide you with opportunities to serve others.
There are three ways to unite with First Methodist church:
1. Profession of Faith
This will involve the confession of in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Often appropriate for those who do not have a current church membership status or those who seek to know Christ for the first time.
2. Reaffirmation of Faith
Renewing of your initial confession of faith after a period of inactivity or not being on a church membership roll.
3. Transfer of Membership
This may be from another United Methodist Church or a Christian Church of any denomination. we recognize baptism from all other Christian Churches. If you have been baptized it is not neccesary to be baptized again. if you have not been baptized, you can be baptized when you join.
