The 2010 Annual Ladybug Brunch

TABLE REP MEETING: Tuesday, February 26 at either 9:00 a.m. or 5:00 p.m.
You can choose either meeting to attend. Meetings will be held in the church library.
All table reps should plan to attend one of these meetings.
Plans are underway for the annual Ladybug Brunch fundraiser to benefit the weekday children's programs at Dalton First United Methodist Church. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2010.
The Ladybug Brunch is a fun-filled day for mom's of children in our weekday children's programs (Preschool, Mother's Morning Out, & Daycare) as well as other ladies in our church and our community. The morning begins with a social hour with refreshments and an opportunity to view items for the silent auction and for the drawing for gifts that are part of this event. This is followed by a viewing of the beautifully decorated luncheon tables. The creativity is unbelievable! A delicious brunch is followed by the drawing for donated gifts and by the announcement of winners of the silent auction items.
Many volunteers make thisfundraise a trememndous success! If you are interested in being a part of this as a volunteer, you may call Chairperson Mae Jensen, 706-275-8433.
Proceeds from this fundraiser are used to purchase toys and supplies, classroom equipment such as tables, chairs, play centers, baby cribs, and playground equipment, fencing for playgrounds and general upkeep for playgrounds and classrooms. Not only does this benefit our weekday programs but our church as a whole.
