Welcome to First United Methodist Church of Dalton. At FUMC,

we are confident you'll find plenty of activities for you and your
family to become involved in at FUMC. We invite you to attend
one of our Sunday School classes, youth activities, small groups,
or become involved in one of our many music programs. Each
will help you learn how to grow spiritually as you find the most
effective way to use your spiritual gifts.

Welcome to a church with proud tradition that reaches back to 1847,
when the town was called Cross Plains. It was a place of ten families,
two small stores, a Post Office, a Blacksmith Shop, and Goat Tavern.

were begun yesterday.
