How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Adult Sunday School Classes

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 9:45a.m. The classes are warm and inviting to those who would like to join.

Youth Ministry

Our youth group consists of middle school (6-8 grades) and high school (9-12 grades). There are many youth opportunities throughout the week beginning with donuts and juice in the Youth Lounge at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings. Youth Sunday School begins at 9:45am. Throughout the year there is youth dinner and small groups on Sunday nights, retreats, mission weekends and much much more.  You have an open invitation to join us any time!

Women’s Group

Women’s groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, located at different times and locations, are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men’s Group

Men’s groups give the men in our church family designated times to fellowship, pray, and plan projects in the community and/or to help elderly folks.

Senior Adults

Once you get past sixty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-60 group of Dalton FUMC provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction.
